Georgia To Acquire The Assets Of The Wellmade Manufacturing Facility
AHF Products LLC, a Madison, Georgia-based flooring manufacturer, received U.S. Bankruptcy Court approval on August 11, 2025, to acquire the assets of Wellmade Manufacturing Facility in Calhoun, Georgia, for $15 million. The acquisition, part of Wellmade’s Chapter 11 reorganization, adds 100,000 square feet of production capacity for laminate and engineered hardwood, creating 50 jobs and supporting Georgia’s 30,000-strong manufacturing workforce. The deal, backed by state incentives, targets a $5 billion flooring market. CEO Chris Wellborn stated, “This acquisition strengthens our domestic supply chain for innovative flooring.”
